Enough is enough with these student loan cry babies. If they didn't want to pay it back they shouldn't have taken the loan.

I fully agree. I understand that the pressure to take out what's essentially a worthless loan for a worthless product was high, but a loan means that you agree, legally, to pay the money back.

I don't like loans, but when I sign for one I know I'm on the hook for the dough.

Yep every time I've taken a loan I pay that back well before the full term. Loans are a good thing when used properly. I kind of laugh at the people who view all loans as (((predatory))). Why would anyone loan out money if they weren't going to make some interest on it? Doesn't make sense. After all the lender does take on the risk of default.

Logic, reason, and ethics really are higher powers.

Let's face it, likely 95% of people in college didn't actually earn entrance and don't deserve nor require a degree.

In professional circles, if it they are not a white male, they are very likely unqualified.

They loaned money, it's only reasonable to assume they're going to want it back.

They jacked up an artificial demand, the price, and the promise of what it could get you, and then offered predatory “loans” for a product about as useful as an asshole on your elbow in about 99% of cases.

College is expensive and requires these bullshit loans because of:

(((the GI Bill))) (((college “experience” movies like “Animal House”))) (((workforce manipulation))) (((inflation))) (((The Department of Education)))

SoFi did not do this. This (((system))) has been in place long before the creation of SoFi.

I'm not saying it isn't a scam, because it is.

At the base of the matter, it's a loan, and a loan implies you get money and pay it back with interest.

they should absolutely pay it back, but i don't believe the government should be charging more than 1% interest, especially since they pay nothing to print it up. they shouldn't be making money off the supposed future of the country.
