That's the karma argument. It's not logical, at least for someone as primitive spiritually as I am. I think some people understand karma but you need spiritual wisdom that I don't have to do so.

In Zen they say karma is both cause and effect. WTF?

Free will is the monkey-wrench that causes ripples in all these principles which should be naturally balanced. I was literally just thinking, earlier today: "...we ALREADY live in a world of lakes of fire (mantle), wailing (violence) and gnashing of teeth (eating physical food, like animals)." I certainly wouldn't have chosen to come here willingly, when all of infinity is the alternative.

My guess is that all our free will was brought on about by some kind of non-serviam, and here we'll be until we fully KNOW why/how we must accept the natural order of things. We could have done it the easy way, but now here we are.
