Maybe. I've noticed that a lot of events I attend, whereas they used to accept PayPal as their processor, no longer do so. The one I was a board member of for a short time did so because PayPal was just "difficult" to work with and they were concerned that PayPal would find something "wrong" with the event and hold the cash.

PayPal is still very popular, don't let me try to make you think otherwise. But as other small B2C payment processors came online, PayPal just kind of vanished from the small event crowd I hung out with at the time.
