This is amusing in theory. However … Not every woman can drop a baby whenever they want to. Are they to be ostracized forever if they (OR THEIR HUSBAND) is infertile? Told they have no purpose whatsoever? That is a double-whammy for a woman who wants to be a mother, yet can't. Telling all women they have to be homemakers is like telling all men they have to be shoe salesmen. Not everybody is suited for the same job. It is DAMN SUFFOCATING to live under the thumb of a man, cut off from reality, begging for a few pennies to buy something for herself, then demeaned and demoralized if they accept a traditional role, because men use them for the butt of their jokes. I don't even consider this feminist thinking. It's just the reality of being female. Men don't usually consider the predicaments women are faced with. They would never think of trading places.
