When skills are rare, opening them up to women can make up for a lack of manpower. When skills are common, there is no need for women to join that workforce and increase the supply of laborers thus decreasing the value of that labor due to a fixed or decreased demand. All women entering the workforce without scarcity of skill has done is drive wages down. Hitler knew this back in the 30's and most of america knew it in the 50's and 60's. apparently we need the 3rd world rot to consume a city or two before we re-learn what we as a country have forgotten.
