i used to work with a guy who blessed the knives at the poultry processing plant. he was moslem. a nice guy, but moslem nonetheless... that job was also done by jews when the muslim guy couldnt make it. apparently moslems could bless food as well, so that it would be "kosher". told me alot right there.
