A lot of people don't realize but on some new cars you can't just bleed the brakes. On my Hyundai you attach your coder and go into brake bleed mode to do it. It opens them up to let the trapped air out. You have to be careful, it said you can burn out the motors if you do this to long. I recommend doing one tire at a time to be safe. We did my brakes 3 times before I found this info. The brakes seemed bled but once I drove they'd go flat soon after like 100ft, rebleed, same result. They don't post this info out because hyundai uses this secret to keep their dealers in business.

Do the calipers still have bleeder nipples? I've never heard of a car that bled its own brakes, but I was aware that if you have anti-lock brakes you need some sort of scan tool to activate them to run fresh fluid through them. Or you can just alternately lock up the brakes on one side or the other by having the wheels on one side on grass and the other side on pavement and bleed the brakes after each time, but you have to do it many times and it takes a couple of hours.

I didn't do it my uncle was under there. I believe you bleed them like normal but the mode opens the antilock system up so the air can pass through. It's just a new step added. I also was reading "I get about 8mpg" that the reason might be their eco mode is fucked. Some guys said they changed to turning eco mode off with the coder and their car had more power and higher gas millege, now ain't that a mindfuck.
