Danners are decent mid-tier boots but they don't hold up nearly as well as something on the level of Nick's/White's/Frank's. You'll pay dearly for them but I can't recommend Nick's enough. I wear the Hotshots and hammer them all season during prescribed burning and wildfire projects and in the woods cruising timber and doing pre-sale forestry work.
