Looks like a White's Boots (whitesboots.com) knock-off. White's has been making boots since 1853.

My pair of Smokejumpers are 24 years old and going strong. The longevity of my pair is not unusual. Even if something does happen, the factory will rebuild them for you for far less than a new pair.

They're made by one of White's old boot-makers. They're functionally the same boot. The Hotshots had a somewhat thicker sole than their White's counterpart but other than that it's personal preference. For a while White's was using shitty Mexican leather and they were falling apart after 2 or 3 wildland/off-trail field seasons so I switched to Nick's and haven't had the same issues. I prefer the rough-out toe and heel too.

Nice. Competition is a good thing. Glad to see other companies making good stuff.
