I had a 73 Duster with a pressure bulb on the floor. By the time I got it in 1994, it didn't work well (probably never did) and quickly rotted away once I put fluid in it.
Not an innovation I'd celebrate, in fact I'd like to meet the engineer that put that in a 1973 model year car and beat him with the broken torsion bar.
