Oh, shit, lets thing this through! How??? It was an electric shock thing that used the large capacitor, charged up then dissipated. Hold with your hands, and you could feel a tiny little tinge. The speaker was part of the project so you could "hear the shock and discharge".
I unhooked that, and the shock was so good it would litterally tense up your arms and twist them due to muscle contractions.
