You don't have capacitors that have a high resistance. You instead have resistors that have an unusually high capacitance. Best to put those into a power supply for great long life and performance. What could go wrong?

These are from a scope power supply. Runs like new, also screen brightness actually works now. :)

And they didn't piss thier contents all over the adjacent components, always a plus.
