The traditional school model wastes so much time. Minimum of 50% of the day is wasted. Homeschoolers are left with a few options: - Go fast (like these guys did) - Stop and smell the roses (travel, etc.) - Get a hobby / sport I've seen all of the above. Depends on the kid and the family. One friend's daughter became an ICU / trauma nurse while most of her peers were still graduating high school. That was interesting to see. Traditional school models are so wasteful.
