My skin crawls a little just thinking back to a couple of times where I got zeroes... you know what it taught me? "Wow, I had a 94% in this class, and just because I didn't do this single project and got a zero, now I have a 71%. I'd better at least make an effort next time." And then I graduated with A's and B's, and a C in math because my generation was the test subject for a sort of "proto-Common Core" math called "Integrated Math". 70% of my graduating class needed remedial math courses in college because they failed us so badly with this bullshit curriculum.
