This happened a couple of years ago. There is a dollar general not to far from me and it was closed on a Wednesday. Weird I thought they closed it down. Turns out the store manager had a second job as a non-manager somewhere else and had a conflict, so the higher pay per hour job won out. No manager means store not open. So not just on welfare, but having second jobs as well.
