Companies need to pay more. What did people think would happen when minimum wage became double digits? Pay isn't worth getting out of bed for. With three inflation most jobs are simply behind the pay scale. Take the recent UPS strikes. They are getting a pay raise to $50/ hr. If that doesn't get more people working for them then I'll start wondering about some mkultra subliminal message in pop culture trigger event.
From a short search the $49 an hour is the top out pay. Not sure how many years of service it takes to get there or if the starting pay is worth the job.
If I'm understanding you hit to pay in 4 years. At least from speaking to a couple ups drivers that's my understanding.
That is of course assuming that the landscape doesn't change before then.
