My apologies. My reply may have come across as too harsh. It wasn't so much a direct critique of your post as it was posting my perspective on what underpins the value of the us dollar and that rubles being paid in rubles / gold is not as much of an impact as people tend to think.
I tend to use Poal as a place to write down notes on ideas because you guys ask good questions and there is space to have a conversation.
