my dad got his insurance revoked because he made a claim about ceiling leakage. the insurance didnt want to pay and they capriciously boot him out of his membership
now we use a state insurance and while we pay a tad less, coverage sucks too. fuckers!

this is true the problem is that the whole state can declared a hurricane zone and i have seen hurricane damage well inland.
andrew was an example of this,i went down with my dad to perrine/homestead region of miami a week or so after andrew and oh boy the destruction was total. you could see miles and upon miles of debris and downed trees and damaged or destroyed homes. no way that just 26 people died on that hurricane.
