Whether they’ll ever return to see a film on the big screen is anyone’s guess

No guessing required. Hollyweird refuses to see the elephant in the room. The old movie audience is gone. It will never return. The plandemic has nothing to do with it. Woke movies do. I don't want to pay money to see niggers cast in white roles, women being men, white people being vilified and being lectured to about global warming, carbon or any agenda Klaus Schwab is promoting or miscegenation.

Same here. The last movie my bf and I went to see in the theater was The Lighthouse. It was just pretentious and the theater was about a million degrees and we were sweating and miserable the whole time.

We torrent anything we want to watch and sit in the comfort of our own homes. Turns out we pretty much never watch anything modern. Seems like mostly stuff from the 80s or earlier, if we watch anything.

I end up seeing woke crap in just about anything modern. It's even in the novels I read and books in contracted to narrate. I just don't get why stories have taken the back burner.

Oh wow, I looked the Lighthouse up. Just reading the plot sounded dreadful enough. I can only imagine sitting in a theater for hours while that unfolded.

I disagree. The lockdowns proved to people that not going to see movies was no great loss. The current dismal state of films coming out of Pedowood just makes it easy not to go back.

I already disliked going to the movies before the lockdown BS. Too many annoying fucks and if you were in the wrong area too many nogs yelling at the screen.

As already said, everything has gone to shit anyway too so none of it is really worth watching. Fine with me. Ill stay home, watch older stuff and not deal with all of the bullshit.

Bad analysis.

Less total people turning out for theaters does not mean some movies won't do comparatively well. Movie attendance will still be in pareto-like distributions, with disproportionate attendance for the top movies.

The three or four examples they listed of "movies people are interested in seeing" aren't even good movies.

Movies are getting worse, of course. But everyone can see that. This midwit writer is just spinning an anti-woke puff piece out of something we all already knew.

20% seems like less than the actual falloff. Barbie, Oppenheimer and Mario kept Hollywood more afloat than would have otherwise.

Agreed, it has to be more than 20%. So many of my social groups just aren’t going to the movies anymore, or if they do it’s a once-off like Barbie or Oppenheimer.

Last one I saw in cinemas was Once upon a time in Hollywood, pre-pandemic in 2019.

Very occasionally, even Hollyweird will accidentally produce a hit. Keep in mind, the funding for these woke films comes from CIA roots. The purpose of movies is to subvert society, not to entertain purely for entertainment purposes. Any entertainment value is there purely so us deplorables accept the agenda. The Netflix movie “Leave the World Behind” (truthmafia.com) is a prime example of predictive programming, laden with symbolism and hidden messages.

I don’t disagree. Even the documentary Theaters of War (2022) exposed the cozy relationship between the CIA/Pentagon (Pentagram?) and Pedowood.
