From the post: At home in the United States, Purdue Pharma, the drugmaker accused of fueling the opioid crisis through its aggressive marketing of highly addictive pain pills, is bankrupt and facing thousands of lawsuits. Abroad, its global counterparts are selling opioids — and still profiting. Among the beneficiaries: some members of the Sackler family, who own Purdue and also sit atop a group of international companies known as Mundipharma, records show. The family faces a wave of litigation over Purdue’s alleged role in an opioid crisis that has claimed hundreds of thousands of lives and ruined countless more across the United States.

I have been lucky enough to not need something that extreme and even when prescribed I either don't fill the script or I don't use it. I have seen what those pills can do to a person and it is not pretty. I don't wish that on anyone.

Don't get hurt. The laws have doctors so scared of the DEA that regular doctors will not prescribe pain pills.

I was with a family member who was in an incredible amount of pain. Took them to a pain clinic. (Special place that writes special pain prescriptions will docs dedecated to just that.) They brought in 4 ambulances with 4 patients on gurneys. These people were dieing and they pulled them from their death beds to be taken to a pain clinic to get their pain treatments.

What the fuck happened to our society?!?!

Sry, that pissed me off that day and I've been pissed off about that subject from dealing with the rest of it all since.

We need to change the laws to prevent politicians from playing doctor to get their political coffers filled. That's only one big part of it. Get in touch with your local and state reps of you want change. I do. Talk to them, they work for you, remind them of that. (Politely, of course.)

Yeah, its all bullshit all of the way down and it was ruined by a bunch of jews (I think I read the family that caused this in the US are all jewish, would that be so surprising)? that wanted to get rich by over prescribing something that the majority of people don't need and now the people that need it can't get it.

When I was prescribed stuff like this it was back when it was the free-for-all. Get a cut on your leg and need stitches? You need oxy or you wont be able to sleep! Even then I knew I didn't need it and refused it. I took some Advil if I needed it.

We have had problems with a pharmacy prescribing life saving medications for a PET because they have "hidden limits" that are put on a pharmacy. They pharmacy does not even know and if they hit a limit a supplier just won't ship them the medication.

I think I posted about this a few months ago. We have to go to other pharmacies to get the meds for the pet sometimes and we have to try to get the prescription filled at least a week in advance because if too many pharmacies have filled too much of that particular drug over the last week/month/etc then they can't fill it (The limit changes for what seems to be no reason at all and no one but the gov knows the limit).

I might have to drive an hour to get to a place that will fill it. I have even had some people accuse me of taking my pet's meds. Are you fucking stupid or something? Without these med's my pet is dead in a few days but it is a controlled substance so its on the "bad list".

Go after the CAUSE of this problem, not those suffering from it. Those people need help. People that actually need these meds NEED HELP.

For any lurkers that made it this far:

Hopefully, just by lightly scratching the surface of this problem a few here will learn from it and act now. Now, before they find themselves on the wrong side. Morphine has always been and always will be the gold standard for treating pain. So if your reading our conversation, stand up against a corrupt government and the jewish owned charities that put more unnecessary controls on your society- in the name of money. That's right, plenty of jews are getting rich over suffering. Do it now. God forbid, you wind up needing to care for a loved one in pain- without pain medications. I would never wish that on anyone. And, dear God, I hope it's not you yourself that needs it. Pain clinic, every month, dying of cancer (or whatever,) being treated like a criminal.

Time to make your voices heard, anons.
