My wife must have been visited by the same dude a couple three years ago, because now we have 400 jars of canned everything. edit: almost forgot, 10 rubbermaid tubs packed to the rims with freeze dried everything. Probably have 6,000 freeze dried eggs. 25 year shelf life :)
Same. Plus the "honey, we can't possibly eat all of these diced tomatoes by the expiration date on these cans.".
The difficult part is defending your food. If you live in even a moderately populated area, if there's real starvation, there will be gangs of looters.
I wasn't thinking that much, just some extra provisions and things.
Maybe my wife got the "food is gone" guy instead of the "food shortages" guy
