Dreaming about staying in a hotel that is under renovation is called a nightmare. You always end up on the 19th floor or something higher, nobody said anything about the renovation until you show up to check in, then you're waiting 45 minutes for the 1 out of 6 elevators that is actually working, and the stairs are closed because they don't want anybody but construction crews going onto the floors having the construction done.

Sounds like one doozy of a dream! The over arching theme is that you have an idea fleshed out of how the world would work ideally. The hotel your staying at is a reflection of the progress your making in your own mind and body. Your mental and spiritual state sometimes shows up as a building, so one you're working on and repairing with a team is a really good sign. Everything in a dream is an aspect of yourself, it's unlikely it's super natural. The people you met in the dream were the parts of you that would be the best at performing that role, it's a good type of dream for self evaluation. You can not attend the event you are looking forward to until renovations are complete.

A hotel in need of renovations implies there's no room in your heart for loved ones, but there once was and will be again after the necessary fixes have been made.

So once you've finished making some changes to yourself in real life you can move on to the next important thing that needs your attention is what it sounds like. But this is all merely speculation

This is amazingly true right now

I hate dreaming about work. I always wake up so tired...

Think about the building. Are you in the process or considering rebuilding your life? Fascinating if you think about it.

I think I'm always renovating my life I suppose
