Everything has a purpose. I meet so many lonely people in my line of work, and many of them have only their pets for companionship. They are loyal companions who love us despite our flaws. Dogs are God’s gift to mankind.

Dogs have had jobs for most of their history. Shepards, Guard Dogs, Hunting Dogs, Etc. Now days they are used for Police dogs more than most of these but some of them have proven to be useful in identifying cancer earlier than many of our medical tools can just because they can smell it.

I haven't had any break-ins while at work since having dogs. I had two before owning dogs. They serve a purpose.
