He's not too bad, phenomenal nose which he gets carried away with far too much, he's good at finding antique bottles, anything that's dead, so on and so forth. On the whole for 18 months old he is very good really. 40kg of muscle and 3 hours exercise a day.

Agreed, I'm 54 now and have had dogs since I was a teen, been through many of those heart wrenching times, it doesn't get easier the more you do it. I will see if I can attach an image of my huntaway cross Welsh collie, he's a beauty to look at.
