The dog has separation anxiety. It's worse when you don't follow a pattern. They are fine if you leave the same time every day, but mix it up and they'll freak out. You should just let the dog ride in the truck.

evidently,he thinks when I leave in the truck he should go? But he is not leash trained, he just sits down and wont move but thats not usually a problem for what we do.
I don't know dogs, but I guess take him along until he gets bored? Could be the best part of his day!
