Our retarded dog will eat his own shit if I don't get it with the pooper scooper. We have 4 huge pecan trees. The squirrels bury lots of the pecans all over the yard and Dopey digs them up and eats a couple a day. He's chews them up and spits out the shell and just eats the insides. Maybe he figured out the shells were too rough getting pooped out.
