Pitbulls were not bred to hunt! They were bred to fight wild bulls in a pit or some kind of sturdy enclosure. The wild bulls were captured by several men on horseback who would lasso the bull. The riders would keep their lassos tight, in different directions, so that the bull could not injure them. They were then herded and dragged to the pit for the fight. Pitbulls were never intended to be pets.

I don't like pitbulls. Real pitbulls are killers. I did however inherit a boxer/pit mix, she's an ugly dog but very sweet. My only problem with her is she was never trained so I'm now training a 85lb puppy who likes to jump and lick me to death.

This sounds like a lot deeper issue. Like some long suppressed anger at the inappropriate uncle or grandpas long bony finger that found a way , through your diaper in your 4 year old ass.
