I think I still have my phones from back then. I had a Nokia that I got a clear case put on, and the antenna was replaced with a laser pointer which was handy for work meetings. I probably still have the first phones (or one of the first) to have a camera in the phone. Low quality pics and it took a while to upload the pics to a text, but it did the trick.
