What is it that causes people to wear their "identities" on their sleeves for the world. I don't care how you identity, nor does anyone give a shit about my identity. In fact, if I started saying I'm a straight male all the time, I'd lose any friends I may already have. People often spell my name wrong, yet I don't feel it necessary to correct them. It's not that important.
I don't display my political party affiliation or religion. I don't display or tell people I'm a firearm owner, none of that matters. If people ask me about my hobbies or affiliations, sure I'll tell them, but these things are not something to post on social media or start a conversation that "I belong to this group".
