I've never been to see The Hermitage, nor visited TN, I would love to see both someday.
Not the masterpiece that be Jefferson’s Monticello, but Ol’ Hickory had a pretty pretty damn cool set up. Tennessee is a beautiful state. Up until you get to Memphis where the nigger stank is unbearable. Knoxville isn’t much better. Nashville I never been to. Like all of America, it was much better before judeo Christian “values” were shoved down its throat.
I’ve known a few families that have moved to Tennessee and to a one have loved their decision.
I've contemplated moving to TN or KY if I ever leave this state. They are very similar to my state in many ways, but much warmer!
What’s great about either state is the availability of water. Makes get’n a viable off grid farm something far more achievable than say Arizona. A longer growing season than a lot of areas. They have a lot of pluses for sure!
