I used to be able to park my truck where my winch bumper touched my buddies windshield. I tow excavators, which you didn't have 50 years ago. I tow dump trailers you didn't have 50 years ago. I drive across three states in a matter of hours going speeds not achievable 50 years ago. Inorder to safely control and stop these bigger loads, the vehicle needs to be bigger. I look at people like you and laugh at how much of what you take for granted is accomplished by people like me driving "ridiculous " trucks.
