It certainly wasn't staged well for the benefit of AOC's optics. There should have been throngs of AstroTurf groups in various matching t-shirts cheering her on and more (like in those empty front 3 rows). An apparent lack of support by the DNC apparatus. AOC must have known about the lack of support and thought she was so loved so much in her district she wouldn't need them. I can't see a Dem to knowingly set themselves up for this much humiliation.
The empty seats were quite telling. No real enthusiasm for AOC in her own district. I hope this bodes well for Tina Forte.

Which is precisely why this was the start point after the obvious psyop Gabbard played with leaving the Dem party. It's an important venue in-so-far as AOC is a contressmen and despite the audience being small that has more leverage than other than. The 2 (3?) interrupting people then allow the claim that a big number of AOC supporters are fleeing to Gabbard. If you remember the primary season in 2015 this happened at EVERY SINGLE Trump campaign event. Though it was always a Cruz plant. They each got identified within literal minutes of them asking their scripted question.
Also remember the "I"m leaving the dem party for ..." happens rather frequently and only differs in who does it. It's happened with "voters" and it's happened with federal politicians in the past too. If Gabbard keeps this up and her handlers are to push hard enough this can easily be a play for 2024 POTUS run.
