In Genesis 9, God designates the rainbow as a sign and wonder of his covenant with Man and The Earth. The sodomites of modernity have perverted this symbol of beauty and assurance into one of desecration and pride to mask their eternal shame.

Proverbs 16:18 reminds us that, "Pride goeth before destruction and a haughty spirit before the fall."
