A guy I used to work with always has first dates a taco bell near his house. Every single one. Split bill every time as well. His theory was that if they were stuck up enough to cut ties based on a cheap getting to know you meal, then he didn't want to be with them. Of course he's married to a 300 lbs Chinese woman now so I'm not sure how well his whole experiment worked out in the end.
