When I was dating there is no way in hell it even crossed my mind that a woman should pay anything.

You are demonstration your competency. When you pay for a nice dinner in a nice place, you tell her - "I can afford this because I am skilled and competent in what I do, my life situation is sorted out and now I am looking for a woman."

If you split bills, you say "I am a fucking retard who believes in equality."

For someone you don't know very well though, invite first to low cost meet ups like a dessert, smoothie, coffee, tea after work and chat to find out if they have an annoying voice or any other red flags like slurping. Then if all seems okay, go for lunch or dinner and pay and start to observe how they behave with others and how others view the person. Just know, the way they treat others when angry is how they will treat you when they are angry at you.

Men should pay. If she's a gold digging mooch you can drop her later, but if she's a keeper and you cheap out you'll lose her on date #1.

I have always paid for dates and continue to pay for everything in married life.

Having said that, the way young single women act these days, they're not worth paying for.

A message for young men: only go out with a woman IF she is worth paying for.

Having said that, the way young single women act these days, they're not worth paying for.

They have been brainwashed by to believe men owe them everything in exchange of some pussy time.

That's why they can never find a real serious man.

If I was young and single, I think I'd look for women who 1. Were homeschooling and 2. Grew up on a farm.

No. First date isn't dinner. Coffee or other non-alcoholic drinks/treats should be the first date.

A guy I used to work with always has first dates a taco bell near his house. Every single one. Split bill every time as well.

His theory was that if they were stuck up enough to cut ties based on a cheap getting to know you meal, then he didn't want to be with them.

Of course he's married to a 300 lbs Chinese woman now so I'm not sure how well his whole experiment worked out in the end.

If he's happy I'd say it was a success. Otherwise...

I've never paid for a first date. There are women who insist on not paying?
