I've had a couple of beginners ask this question, specifically, so here goes:

Go to the Stock Profile, then select Options Chain

Expand the date, then select the option you would like to Buy

This window will pop up. Click "Buy"

This will pop up at the bottom.

Remember, 1 contract is 100 shares. That is the minimum number of shares you can control.

Remember, until you know better, it is best to have 100 of the stock you are trading options with so you are "covered."

Eventually, you can play with naked calls and naked puts, but I don't suggest you start there. Like, at all.

Good luck.

This video (youtube.com) is long AF, but if you're asking how to buy an option, you should probably watch this before doing so.
