I've had my eye on Palantir for years because of their work in the Intelligence community and the fact that they seemed like the obvious company to bring together a lot of scary elements of big tech to government decision making with "Eye of Sauron" data collection capabilities and artificial intelligence. For that reason, I bought heavily into the IPO at around $10.00 and then got another large chunk when it dropped to $9.50, or so. I, of course, told Poal that I liked the stock when I learned of the IPO. I purchased as a long term hold with consideration to long term call options. I'll admit, I was still being wowed by Tesla, at the time, otherwise I probably would have had a little more for Palantir.

Let's have a quick look at what Big tech is saying about one of their potential upcoming rivals.

A lot of calls are guessing $40 by the end of the week.

And I'm quite liking what I'm seeing with some of the long term plays.

PLTR did make the list for Unusual Options Activity, which means there is certainly a play to be made, here. Notice the $25.00 Put Options. Perhaps, that means we will get a good opportunity, this week, to get in at a good price to make a long term play.

Palantir Earnings announcement are this morning. Often, traders find themselves frustrated at earnings being great for a company, but stock prices still drop. This is why it is usually wise to sell, just going into earnings, because most people buying shares, in that moment, are making longer term plays. Right after earnings, especially if it is bad news for a good company that will be around, is a great time to buy.

If you're new, check out the behavior of the charts for tickers with earnings announcements, this week.

Palantir will be deploying their Apollo system to nuclear submarines. To me, this is an indication they will be around for the rest of our lives.

Palantir announced it is building "Iron Man" suits and has acquired a contract with a significant diamond mining company for industrial use.

Palantir has "Gotham" which government all over the world are using as an data fed AI for crime fighting, intelligence and government decision making.

Palantir is starting to look like a company that will take over the world.

We've got different plays by big money guessing it will end the week at anywhere between $25.00 and $40.00, which is a spread with some good potential to play with, as a day trader or an algotrader.

That's my opinion. Not my advice.

I'm Green Lighting PLTR on my algo. I'm holding the equity long. I've got long term calls with a strike price of $50. That is my play. Not my advice.

Idk if you've been watching the Westworld series, but PLTR makes me think of 'Rehoboam'. (westworld.fandom.com)
