True statement. We always had the token black kid at school growing up, so I never really had to encounter blacks until years later when I enlisted in the Navy. That’s when I realized I don’t want to live around them.

For me it was when I was working construction in Detroit. Half had to be black, so they just found places to hide and sleep knowing they had to be there.

Same for me, except it was the Marines. There were zero blacks where I went to school for the first nine years.

Growing up in an all white suburb my interaction with blacks consisted of watching "The Cosby Show". I never thought about black vs white or had anti-black bias. Not until I moved into the city and starting dealing with them. My views quickly changed.

If I knew how many niggers were in the south I would have adjusted my decision to move here. Even in my safest town in the state we still get nigger overflow from other areas.
