Of course they want this war going. They think they will win a war of attrition with Russia and were deluded into thinking they held all the cards. Russia has trading partners outside the west, they have massive supplies of oil and large tracts of land for food (even if its not the best land) Nato overplayed their hand hard, they expected their propaganda to be much more effective but at this point i think they are going to be more concerned over civil war than a hot war with a superpower. They expected their weapons in ukraine to inflict crippling losses at the cost of ukrainian lives, something jews have no problem spending. They werent as effective as they thought though. their arrogance is undermining them immensely. If you are new to this conflict it started 8 years ago when us backed groups overthrew the ukrainian govt. its been going on for a while
