It's cute on its face, but Anglin is quick to point out that the woman in question is 30, 5'6", and is looking for a man who is tall, rich, handsome like every Chinese woman. He draws the conclusion that women basically never concern themselves with the likelihood of meeting all of their desires in a partner, which often leads to them waiting for the ideal partner even after their days of peak fertility have passed. His bafflement is heightened by the apparent lack of self-awareness among these cases -- the sense of entitlement was what got them to this situation in the first place, but it persists even as the odds of finding any mate or producing any children rapidly decline.

He then pivots to cultural comparisons between how Chinese people and American people relate to the idea of government.
