Interesting setup with a super-bright strobe synchronized via laser to rotating objects. Sort of like slow-mo but at normal speed. The strobe itself is so bright it causes noise in dark objects held in front of it. It's just LEDs driven by a capacitor bank, with instantaneous power way above their typical rating.
