Drake is one crazy muffugga. Over the years he has done some crazy experiments that push the bounds of hobby science to extreme levels. While this setup is one of his crazier ones, the videos where he did high current and high voltage are the ones that terrified me to no end. The power engineer in me cringes sometimes at the plasmas and arc flashes he creates. In my previous life, these sorts of expensive sounds would have ruined weeks of time for me and caused root-cause analysis meetings that were soul crushing. Spattered metal is cool here but it's an omen of bad things in the real world of power switching. I'm glad I'm in software now.

Yeah I can only take so much of him at a time. He's actually got a condition where his testosterone levels are off the chart. He talked about it in a video a year or two back. Might explain a few things about him.
