The absolute first thing that came to my mind looking at the picture was 'rolling some sort of pastry/dough'. Were retards actually confused by this? I briefly wondered candy production but that didn't really jive w/ operation of it.

People are dumb for the most part. I used to think that everyone "could do about anything, they are either too lazy or don't care". Then I got older and realized that most people are barely NPC level at problem solving/thinking/etc.
