The tedious part for me is the sewing it together. I can do the main parts forever but have to force myself to piece it all together. When I was a kid and lived with my mom she preferred the sewing together part so I would just give her the stock of pieces of sweaters or whatever and she'd get them put together. I love being able to stitch and hardly look which works better with knitting. I can even read a book and knit. Crochet has a nice rhythm too but I have to look down more.
