Yeah this is going to come in handy. I do some wood working and laser engraving when I have free time and it's often difficult to determine how well I will be able to engrave or cut pieces in the laser since it struggles with many hardwoods. The author of the article is Matthias Wandel and he has a pretty good YouTube channel on woodworking and other things. He builds a lot of his own woodworking machines and I'm especially jealous of his 12 inch jointer and pantorouter. Check him out on YouTube if you're interested.
