I will test it out today or tomorrow. I'm not sure if I want to wait a full day for the silicone to dry. It will have been about 12 hours by the time the sun comes up today.

That's impressive, if you need to boost the power, look into making a parabolic reflector out of an old digital satellite dish.

Thanks for the tip. I was thinking about seeing how I can improve it after I do some testing. One thought was to put a ceramic tile at the base to help it retain heat. As it sits, the pots would be sitting on plywood.

Definately provide some type of thermal mass inside. It will carry heat through passing clouds and prevent large temp swings. Ceramic tiles would be a good upgrade.

Use a convex lens from an old rear projection TV Look up solar scorcher

Were you thinking in the means of replacing the top pane of glass with a convex lens?

OP could have a seperate cooking box and the parabolic reflectors aimed at it. this could make pizza.
