How is that a burglary, not a home invasion, when there's people inside who even yelled at her to get out and she still kept coming?

Because the source is the Daily Mail and the Brits are subjects, not citizens. Daily Mail links to 6ABC which uses the slightly better "break-in"

Also in PA you don't need to be licensed to have firearms in your home. But I guess the reporting is trying to portray the resident as positively as possible.

Good on the home owner. I hope I'm never forced into that situation, for their sake as well as my own mental sake. We don't have any pistols. They will be greeted with either a 12 ga. or my AR-15. Either way, that would be a hell of a mess to clean up, and they're not going to make it to a hospital.
