YES !!!! I've been having this argument for years. I always tell people not to defend their home in the city with their 9MM or with Buckshot. Too much penetration. Especially if you live in an apartment or in a neighborhood where the houses are close together. You're gonna end up shooting your neighbor. I always say 1 and an eighth ounce of 8 shot with a cylinder choke. Will fuck up the bad guy real good and if any pellets miss (or all of them) you're much less likely to go through the wall and then through the neighbors wall and kill him accidentally. No if you're out in the country or have no other houses around you? 00 buck all day. 9mm or AR, whatever floats your boat.
