As for the entertainers, they can't refuse to do as their master bids. Such is the nature of things for those who agree to Faustian bargains. Make no mistake, they all knowingly sold their souls for this and when the time comes that they're no longer useful they will be disposed of accordingly with as much concern as we express to our leftovers.
