He comes a nanosecond away from getting his face blown off, shoots and drops the bad guy in a split second while calling for backup, and in the middle of the most insane and adrenaline-soaked few seconds of his life has the presence of mind not to double-tap that absolute BALLOONHEAD who ran up on him as it was all happening.
That balloonhead realized he had done fucked up pretty quick as well. If he hadn't thrown his hands up when the did, he would have been shot as well.
You almost want to give the idiot credit for running towards the gun fire instead of pissing his pants and running away. He is indeed very lucky he raised his hands.
And this is why cops don't wait so long to respond to threats. This cop was lucky. He didn't need to rely on luck.
